The Generate UUID - Batch scheduler job is the batchable variant of the standard Generate UUID job, specifically engineered to process large volumes of data efficiently.

Configuration

The configuration process is identical to the one described in the standard Generate UUID guide.

The only difference occurs during Register the Scheduler Job Step: you must select Generate UUID - Batch in the Job Type field.

ℹ️ Note on Data Volumes: The Generate UUID - Batch job type is specifically optimized for bulk processing of large datasets (e.g., 10,000+ records). If you need to generate UUIDs for smaller datasets more frequently, it is highly recommended to use the standard Generate UUID job type instead.
